INTRODUCTION

A.      Background

As we know, children aged from 0 until 6 years have a golden age. These are very important times because children experience a period of maximum brain and physical growth

.They have a strong memory and are also curious about everything new.at an early age also in order to maximize the development of the child's body, both to train gross and fine motor skills in children in an easy way

No doubt it is very important for parents to guide their children at an early age. Children are like empty glasses waiting to be filled. Therefore, parenting style determines self-development in children

 

B. Formulation of the problem

Based on the background, the problems formulated in this paper are as follows:

1. How to be a good parents for children

2. How to maximalized the potential thats children has

The purposes to be achieved from this research are as follows:

 DISCUSSION

A. Why parenting skill is important

As we know, children are a gift from God given to parents. As parents, we must fulfill our obligation to educate our children. There are so many parenting methods that can be applied to children. maybe in ancient times the parenting used was very monotonous. and also sometimes traumatize the child. because of the times, many parents today want to give the best for their children. some parenting methods that are trending among parents are: montesorri approach, elephant parenting, light house parenting, holistic parenting, dolphin parenting etc. As parents we know that children are excellent imitators. then it would be nice if we become parents to set a good example so that later the child becomes a good person and is useful for those around him and it is also hoped that children will be confident in the activities they do, can socialize well. If parents don't know the parenting method that is suitable for their child then maybe the child will be left behind. So how do parents know the best parenting methods for their children? With advances in technology, we can learn anything, one of which is the Montessori method. Maybe some parents have never heard of the Montessori method. The Montessori method is an educational method that helps children to reach their potential in life. This method emphasizes the independence and activity of children with the concept of direct learning through collaborative practice and games. The benefit of this method is the emphasis on independent learning so that it is believed to be able to grow independence and raise children's confidence.

1. Allows children to learn, develop, and work at their own pace.

2. Children can build and develop their respective skills from an early age.

3. Develop social skills due to the multi-age class.

4. Children become more active and enjoy learning.

5. Train children to be disciplined.

 Every parent wants the best for their child. therefore it would be better before we become parents, we have prepared the basic things and do not make children as victims because of our ignorance. children have potential that must be explored, therefore parents have an important role in facilitating. without parental awareness, there will be many failures felt by children
